Which Thomas & Friends Trains fit Munchy Play Plates?
Munchy Play plates feature a built-in track measuring 4cm wide - the size of a standard size track. This can accommodate most toy trains, including ALL Thomas & Friends™ Trackmaster engines.
Guide to the different Thomas & Friends engines
Here's a quick guide to Trackmaster engines - suitable for children 3years+. Toy trains can help develop gross motor and sensory skills, and help inspire imaginations.
These are the biggest in the Trackmaster range. The new motorised Thomas train comes with a trailer to pull-along. This is a battery-powered toy train and requires 2 x AAA batteries. The engine includes connectors to attach other push-along or motorised engines.
Push-along trains require no batteries and are easy for little hands to push around. These diecast metal engines include connectors for attaching to other engines (20.2L x 4.1W x 7.2H cm).
The smallest in the range, MINIS fit on the tracks, but are not flush. We do not recommend using small engines with our tracks, as they may present a choking hazard. ( 1.9 x 9 x 1.2.)
Which trains do you sell?
We offer a wide range of trains to add-on to your order to bring your kids' plate to life. This includes: Thomas, James, Percy and Nia engines.
These are also available to add-on separately here >> Discounts cannot be applied to individual engines.
About Munchy Play
Munchy Play® is an award-winning family business, founded by a mum to make mealtimes more fun and less stressful. Our kids' plates feature a built-in track, including Hot Wheels™ and Thomas & Friends™ collections.
How it began...
"It was another typical day in the life of being a parent, when my fussy eater toddler was having a mealtime meltdown. Reaching out for his favourite toy train, I fashioned a track around his kids' bowl and that's where it all began. Inspired by its success, I set out to create the first kids’ plate with a built-in track, that would excite children about dining."
