Perfect portions are served up on kid’s plates, like beans on toast (for just £1.95!) as well as more adventurous Crispy Corn Tortilla Chips, this is a tourist favourite while still being very kind on your purse, and much loved by fussy eaters too!

Great food, great service and great for kids, Portabello Restaurant in Summertown offers sumptuous dishes. It includes a set price children’s menu (£7.50) offering three-courses, with all the classics from sausages and chips to macaroni cheese. Somehow, we think they will be most excited about the chocolate fudge brownie.

Set in a stunning Victorian conservatory, this is a well-known and much-loved landmark that serves great tasty dishes.
