Billed as the biggest family fun day out in Cornwall, this is one for adrenaline junkies! For a great day out with the kids, head to Helston to the kid’s adventure playground. Lappa Railway Steam Train

Whether your little one loves toy trains, Munchy play train plates, or Thomas the Tank Engine, this one is a guaranteed hit. Watergate Bay beach

There are so many great beaches in Cornwall for all the family to enjoy. The Lost Gardens of Heligan

Is that a mount of a face coming out of the grass? This magical gardens takes you on a journey through tropical forest immersed in nature. With bamboo tunnels and a rope bridge, as well as rare breed animals, it makes for a great day in the great outdoors (family tickets £35). Visit heligan.com

Paradise Park, Hayle

A really lovely family day out for toddlers and one that all the family will enjoy at this award-winning wildlife sanctuary. Complete with jungle barn, free flying bird shows and feeding parrots, it’s a great way to support this local conservation.
